There are tons of people providing Penny Stock tips on message boards and forums all over the internet. The problem with these types of tips on penny stocks is that most of them are completely hype. Posts generated by PR guys hired to generate a frenzy and move a low PPS stock a couple hundred percent in a short period of time for obvious reasons.
In the penny markets rumors and speculation can run a.10 stock to.30 or.40 in a day. This may not seem like much but consider you had $1000 to buy into this stock and could pick up a 3 or 4 thousand return in a day. This certainly is not the norm with penny stocks but it certainly does happen.
Most of the top players generally spend time analyzing stock charts to study movement trends and predict potential profits. The top players can use this method with much better results than basing on company reports or other information that is sketchy at best.
Some fundamental Penny Stock tips for new investors:
* Never invest in Penny Stocks what you cannot afford to lose. Remember you are investing in small start up companies that often times fail which leads to the next tip.
* Never play these stocks with an eye for growing long term investment wealth. These types of stocks are much better short term investments and play much like gambling than traditional stock investing.
* Having a gamblers mentality will serve you well in these types of investments but you must limit the size of a potential loss.
I personally set my loss limits at 30% for any purchase which allows me to not have to constantly stress or watch a stock every minute of the day. Generally I will also set a sell price but that is more based upon how I feel about a stock or what the chart data tells me.
The last penny stock tip I would offer is to avoid the internet message forums and try to stick with a chart method or advice based upon chart movement. Any investment in these stocks is a risk as with all investments but they are very fun to buy and sell. You can also make very good money if you have the right tips.
