Queen size mattresses mean that the couple will have more room than the standard double bed. What most people don’t know is that doubles often only give the couple the equivalent of a crib mattress width (for each person) to try to get some rest on! The only comparison that can be made is that queen size mattresses suit couples much better than a standard double since it is wider. It would seem also that the higher end models do tend to give a feeling of luxury which the lower end models do not.
People with back problems do not necessarily benefit from a firm mattress, nor do some of these beds offer a kind of ‘temperature control’. They can be extremely hot in summer but feel harder in winter when the foam is cold. Once the body heats them up though, they do feel softer to lie on.
